In May 2014 I graduated from the University of Michigan (again) and spent two glorious weeks in Italy with a very good friend. Having graduated from the Ford School, we called our adventure Fordiemoon. A year later, I made this print for her birthday and a tribute to the gelato, wine, cheese, and seafood consumed the previous year.
I used a different technique on this print. Instead of using one ink, I dropped 4 different colors on the palette and avoided over-rolling the ink so the variations would come through. Something I will definitely try in the future.
