So while the other Anatomy of a Print pages give comprehensive dives into certain pieces, below are galleries and short notes that map my process. Enjoy!
Snowzilla 2016
I didn’t keep stats on this one either, but over the course of a weekend I rewatched the first 3 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy. I didn’t work on this piece the entire time; there were two tea towel patterns created in the process. I think I ended up with what I’ll call “Printer’s Arm”- pain in the hand and dominant shoulder.
The Baroness Kitten Von Mittenberg
I didn’t keep stats on this one, but this piece is dear to my heart. After 17 years of close (probably closer than she wanted) companionship, this August I said goodbye to my darling cat, Kitty (aka Mittens). This was a devotional piece to commemorate our time together. And yes, she did have a bit of a stink face.
